Suspicion as bomb explosion rocks Jalingo

The capital of Taraba State, Jalingo was rocked by a bomb explosion on Tuesday evening.

The explosion, occurred on Tuesday at about 9 pm, a few meters away from the military base located in the Jalingo metropolis.

It was gathered that the incident threw the military base and people into confusion and suspicion.

The explosion happened a month after a similar incident occurred in Iware community in Ardo-Kola council that led to massive destruction of lives and property.

Apart from that of Iware, it would be recalled that another explosion occurred in Nukkai area of Jalingo city last month.

Confirming the report, the state police command through its Public Relation Officer (PPRO), Usman Abdullahi, said no death was recorded in the incident.

He promised to get back on the details of the incident later.
