BREAKING: Adeleke is authentic Osun PDP candidate, court declares

Senator Ademola Adeleke is the authentic candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the July 16 governorship election in Osun State.

The Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo and presided over by Justice Nathaniel Emmanuel affirmed him as the PDP candidate in a ruling on Wednesday.

He gave the judgment while delivering a ruling in a suit filed by a factional candidate of the PDP, Prince Dotun Babayemi.

Babayemi had prayed the court to recognise him (Babayemi) as the authentic PDP candidate following the parallel primaries held on March 9.
