The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has urged party members to put the legal wrangling behind them and join forces with Senator Ademola Adeleke in order to establish a strong front ahead of the gubernatorial election in the state.

Senator Adeleke, the party’s gubernatorial candidate in the July 16 election, was congratulated on his win at the Federal High Court in Osogbo on Wednesday.

The PDP also described Justice Ayo Emmanuel’s decision as a victory for the good people of Osun State, particularly PDP members.

Ademola Adeleke’s candidacy as the PDP’s flagbearer in the July 16 election was validated by a Federal High Court in Osogbo earlier on Wednesday.

In response to the ruling, Dr. Akindele Adekunle, Chairman of the party’s Caretaker Committee, called on Dotun Babayemi to ensure proper integration of his supporters into the mainstream PDP in the state, adding that this action would deter fifth columnists from infiltrating the party through misunderstanding corridors.

While praising the Gbongan prince for his maturity in handling the fraternal feud, Akindele asked him to use his position of power to bring the party together.

The chairman urged party officials to instruct their members to refrain from making harsh comments about the new situation and to work for the party’s common goals.
