APC presidential primaries: Tinubu will win, Osinbajo will be disgraced — Omokri predicts

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has said that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo would be disgraced in the coming All Progressives Congress presidential primaries.

He said the national leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu, would come first in the exercise and would be followed by either the former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, or the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan.

The 2023 presidential ticket of the APC is being contended by 25 aspirants. Many of them, including Osinbajo, have been traversing across the country wooing the party delegates’ support.
However, in a tweet on his official Twitter handle on Thursday, Omokri wrote, “I think by now it has dawned on Osinbajo that if APC primaries are by direct democratic free and fair primaries, he will be disgraced! He won’t even come second. It will be Tinubu first, and Amaechi or Lawan second. His only hope is a consensus candidacy. Am I lying?”

He also said that the battle for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party presidential ticket would be between former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and ex-Anambra State governor, Peter Obi.

According to Omokri, while Obi will get the votes of many PDP candidates Atiku will get most of the votes.

“Let me use the language you may understand. On May 29, many PDP delegates will vote for Peter Obi. Most will vote for another candidate. When you see who wins the primary, the result may help you distinguish between many and most. Thanks and God bless!” He said.
