Peter Obi, running mate meet Obasanjo in Abeokuta

Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, on Sunday met former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Obi, a former Anambra State governor and Baba-Ahmed, a former House of Representatives member were received by Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Also present at the meeting was the Senior Pastor of Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo, a social justice activist.

Photos of the meeting were shared on social media by Obi’s ally and a former United Nations official, Oseloka Obaze.

The meeting with Obasanjo is part of Obi’s consultations ahead of the 2023 general elections next year.
