Osun Gov-elect, Adeleke gets Certificate of Return from INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has handed Senator Ademola Adeleke, the winner of the recently concluded Osun State gubernatorial election, with a certificate of return.

Adeleke obtained her return certificate on Wednesday at the INEC headquarters in Osogbo.

Remember that Adeleke of the PDP received 403,371 votes while incumbent governor Gboyega Oyetola of the APC received 375,027 votes.

He will be sworn in on November 27, 2022, when the existing governor’s term ends.

In his victory address, Adeleke praised INEC for conducting the polls and thanked the people of Osun for entrusting him with their ballots.
