Omo-Agege loses his aide in Delta

Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy Senate President, has lost one of his aides.

Gunmen assassinated Cyril Mudiagbe in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area, Delta State.

He was a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sapele Ward 6 as Cyril Makanaki.

The event occurred early Sunday morning at his home in the Decima neighbourhood.

According to Eniagbe, a neighbour, the attackers shot the dead through the window.

“They were hammering on his window, and when he opened it, he was shot in the chest,” he explained.

Security personnel, including vigilantes, have launched a manhunt for the attackers.

Bright Edafe, Delta Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), said he had not yet received specifics about the event.
