Buju BNXN will face sanction for spitting on officer – Police

Buju BNXN, a Nigerian music superstar, may have to face questions after boasting about spitting on a police officer.

According to Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, “@BNXN proudly tweeted that he spat in [sic] a police officer’s face and it felt so good.’ He has since deleted the tweet. The police officers will be sanctioned for their misbehavior if established, while @BNXN will surely answer for his assault on a police officer, “he tweeted.

On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, Hundeyin made this known via his Twitter profile in response to a message sent by the music sensation.

In a tweet, Buju boasted about spitting on the cop.

“Spat on the cop’s face and it felt nice,” he tweeted.

He later removed the message.

On Wednesday afternoon, the musician got embroiled in a confrontation with members of the Nigeria Police Force.

In a video that has since gone viral, the musician is shown shirtless, wearing just his singlet, fighting with and assaulting the cops who appear to be blocking his car.
