Governor Soludo Calls On His Predecessor, Obiano
Governor Chukwuma Soludo says the flag of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA will continue to fly higher in Anambra state and even beyond the state.
Governor Soludo stated this when he paid a courtesy call on his predecessor and Chairman of Board of Trustees of APGA, Chief Willie Obiano.
Governor Soludo was accompanied to the visit by his wife, Nonye and other stakeholders in the state including the Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, the Speaker, Anambra state House Of Assembly, Right Honourable Uchenna Okafor, Chief of staff to the Governor, Mr Ernest Ezeajughi among others.
Governor Soludo who said that the visit was to wish him and his family a Merry Christmas noted that such good relationship will always help Anambra grow better.
Assuring that APGA will continue to give Anambra a progressive development, Governor Soludo commended Chief Obiano for laying a good foundation with his legacy projects which include the Anambra International Passenger and Cargo Airport, Umueri.
Noting that his wise council and partnership is needed for a greater Anambra, Governor Soludo noted that Anambra is looking forward to a greater development under APGA leadership.
Governor Soludo promised to continue making Anambra state a shining light irrespective of the constraints and economic situation of the country.
He said that APGA will continue to grow stronger and assured of his support to enable the third largest political party in Nigeria win all the legislative seats in the state and beyond.
Former Governor Obiano while receiving his successor, Governor Soludo and his entourage commended his giant strides in the past nine months and asked ndi Anambra to support the governor firmly.
He also asked the people in his cabinet to always provide the governor with every necessary advise that will enable him succeed as a tree does not make a forest.
