Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), claimed that if he should win the 2023 presidential election, young people would no longer be forced to flee Nigeria (japa).

He pledged to put measures into effect that would safeguard young people’s futures.

At the party’s campaign gathering on Thursday in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State’s capital, Obi made the commitment.

The former governor of Anambra State swore to eradicate poverty, corruption, and instability.

Obi promised to monitor the unemployment rate to make sure graduates land well-paying jobs.

He said, “My administration will move this country from consumption to production

“Our youths will be properly taken care of and will no longer be travelling out for greener pastures.”
