2023: PDP harps on relevance of BVAS, says it’s solution to election rigging
The Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), according to Sen. Walid Jibrin, the head of the Atiku/Ombugadu campaign council in Nasarawa State, is a way to prevent election fraud in 2023.
This was said by Jibrin, a former chairman of the BOT PDP, during the party’s campaign in the state’s Akwanga Local Government Area.
He said that BVAS would reduce electoral fraud in the general elections and ensure that voter votes were counted.
The chairman consequently advised voters to support all PDP candidates, including Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for president of Nigeria and Dr. David Ombugadu for governor of Nasarawa State.
He claimed that Atiku would deliver Nigeria from the many problems it is currently facing.
Jibrin said, “A vote for Atiku/Okowa will rescue Nigeria from its present challenges and a vote for Ombugadu/Ohinoyi will bring speedy development across the state.
“A vote for all of our PDP candidates will enable all of us enjoy the much needed dividends of democracy.”
