Guber Election: Oba of Lagos Tells LP’s Rhodes-Vivour who will Win Saturday Poll

The Labour Party candidate for the state’s Saturday governorship election, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, was informed on Thursday by the Oba of Lagos, Rilwanu Akiolu, that Babajid Sanwo-Olu, the incumbent governor and APC candidate, will win the election.

When Rhodes-Vivour, better known as GRV, his father, and his campaign team paid a visit to the Oba at his palace in Iga-Iduganran, Lagos State, the traditional leader made the comment.

According to the Oba of Lagos, God has ordained Sanwo-Olu to rule the state for another four years.

He said, “I declared my support for Sanwo-Olu because I believe in him and the Lord has said it is Sanwo-Olu who will win. For you Gbadebo, the future is open to us. God will not kill you, there is nothing wrong in you contesting. All of those contesting are my children.

“God should help us to make the state better. When Sanwo-Olu wins, the government will involve all of us”.
