Afro-Caribbean Investment Potential Rises As PM Seeks Economic Partnership At AACIS 2025

Nigeria and St. Kitts and Nevis have strengthened their investment ties through a historic 2025 summit.
The day one of the Aquarian Consult Afri-Caribbean Investment Summit (AACIS 2025), held under the theme “Bridging Continents: Africa and the Caribbean – A Partnership for Prosperity,” commenced on March 25 in Abuja, Nigeria.
It began with an inspiring keynote address and official declaration of summit opening by Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew.
After AACIS, What next?

The event aims to foster economic cooperation, promote investment opportunities, and deepen bilateral relations between the two nations.
St. Kitts’ Prime Minister, Terrance Drew, said the move also highlights the island nation’s efforts to expand its economic horizons and collaborate with African countries.
The summit is expected to attract investors, business leaders, and government officials from both countries, providing a platform for networking, partnership-building, and exploring investment opportunities.
Key sectors, such as agriculture, tourism, and renewable energy, are likely to be in focus.
As part of this initiative, St. Kitts is also promoting its citizenship by Investment programme, which offers investors a chance to obtain citizenship in exchange for a minimum investment of $250,000 in the Sustainable Island State Contribution Fund or $325,000 in government-approved real estate projects.
The Investment Gateway Summit 2025, co-hosted by the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis and the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU), is the premier platform for economic citizens, investors, entrepreneurs, and friends of the islands to connect and explore exclusive growth opportunities.
At the event, there were top engagements among government officials, business leaders, economic citizens, and local exhibitors to gain insights into actionable investment incentives, knowledge of regulatory frameworks, and understanding of the strategic vision driving economic growth.
