N1bn victory: Congratulations, appeal against judgment won’t succeed, Sani tells Nnamdi Kanu
The senator who represented Kaduna Central at the 8th Senate, Shehu Sani, has congratulated the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, over his N1 billion court victory.
The Federal Governent was on Wednesday, January 19, ordered by a High Court sitting in Abia State to pay the sum of N1 billion to Nnamdi Kanu, and also issue a letter of apology to him.
The court order following a ruling on a human rights suit filled against the Nigerian government by Nnamdi Kanu, where he accused Nigerian Military of invading his father’s house, in Afaraukwu, Abia State, on September 10, 2017.

Reacting to the ruling in a tweet, Senator Sani wrote: “Brother Nnamdi,
Congratulations for your One billion Naira victory. No appeal against this judgment shall succeed. Remember those of us who are not insulting you.
Relax Bro.”
