Police confirm killing of two allegedly by herdsmen in Ondo

Police have confirmed the killing of two persons in Ondo State by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen.

The two persons, who were killed on Sunday evening, were said to be an owner of a fuel station in the state and his attendant. 

They were reportedly shot dead at Okeluse Community in the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.

An eyewitness claimed that the herdsmen stormed the community around 6:00 pm and opened fire on the victims. 

According to a resident of the community, the killers are herdsmen who have been terrorizing the local government. 

The incident was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Funmilayo Odunlami.
