No mercy for terrorists, bandits in Nigeria, Buhari tells military
President Muhammadu Buhari has again ordered the military to crush all terrorists and bandits creating unrest in Nigeria.
In a statement by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, Buhari stated this at the palace of Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, on Thursday.
The president in the statement said “I gave them specific orders not to spare any bandit or terrorist threatening the lives and property of innocent Nigerians,”

Buhari while commiserating with the Soko State government and the people of the state over the loss of lives and property due to attacks by bandits and other criminal gangs, assured that government would end the reign of the terrorists in the country.
The President wrote in the visitors’ register: “My condolences to the Sultanate, the Government, and people of Sokoto State over the recent mindless killings by bandits and terrorists.
“Nigeria shall win the battle over evil.”
The Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal and the Sultan appreciated the President for the show of sympathy assuring him of continued support towards peace and stability in the country.
