While sharing the experience he had with some petty traders and youths, he said many people who had ideas were in need of money to start-up businesses.

The former president lamented that many Nigerians were frustrated over failed businesses, adding that many of them had shared their horrible experiences and information with him.

Obasanjo said the economic situation of the country had made his friend, a legal luminary, Afe Babalola shed tears, having known what the petty traders in the country were going through.

Earlier, the Director of Youths Development, OOPL, Ibukun Olagbemiro said the project aims at providing credit facilities  to young business owners with the support of  Obasanjo.
