Nollywood actor, Prince Emma Buchi killed in Delta, corpse found days after

A popular Nollywood actor, Prince Emma Buchi, has been allegedly killed by someone close to him.

It was learnt that the actor was killed in his home off Jesus Saves/DLA Road in Asaba, the Delta state capital.

The actor was allegedly murdered by his personal assistant, identified simply as Sunny. The suspect allegedly escaped with some of the actor’s belongings after killing him last Friday.
It was learnt that Sunny, who hails from Amuzukwu, was a butcher at Bonny Street in Umuahia, the Abia State capital before he and the actor met.

The decomposing body of the deceased actor was found at his apartment which suggested he died some days ago.

A Facebook user identified as Lucy Rich who claimed to be a friend of the late actor, wrote on her page on the social media platform, “What a life. Someone you dined with yesterday could just give up tomorrow like this guy. my friend whom I saw 2 weeks back, only to hear that he died 3 days ago and his body was found today in his apartment in Asaba. His properties were missing and he was locked inside. Goodnight Prince Emma Buchi.”

However, when contacted by SaharaReporters, Edafe Bright, the spokesman for the state police command, confirmed the death of Prince Emma.
Edafe said Prince Emma had died a few days before his neighbours realised he was dead.
But he described the allegation that the actor was killed by his personal assistant as baseless

“The police are not yet certain who is responsible for the killing. I also read on the internet that he was killed by his personal assistant, and I wondered where that was coming from,” he added.
