Bandits kidnap woman in sick bed in Zaria

Bandits members have kidnapped a sick woman on her sick bed in  Anguwar Malamai village in Kakeyi, Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

According to a source, bandits intended to abduct the woman’s husband but he escaped having overheard the conversation between the assailants and an occupant of the house.

”On arrival, bandits inquired about her husband, Shuaibu Dallatu, who unknown to them, was attending to his sick wife in a nearby room”, the source said.

”While the discussion was going on between the bandits and an occupant of the house, Shuaibu Dallatu sneaked out, leaving only his sick wife, he narrated.

He said the bandits only met the sick wife lying critically ill on her bed but despite her illness, they bundled her into an awaiting Gulf vehicle, shooting sporadically.

“The bandits, who arrived at the village around on Thursday proceeded straight to the resident of Alhaji Shuaibu Dallatu and kidnapped his wife

“They bundled her into a waiting car and started shooting into the air as they made their exit.”

The Kaduna Police Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Jalinge, could not be reached as of the time of filing this report.
