Ohanaeze carpets Atiku over 2027 presidency

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide and other well-known leaders from the Southeast, has said that Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, should not to be taken seriously because of his pledge to hand the presidency to the region in 2027.

Atiku said during a rally in Enugu that in exchange for the region’s support of him in 2023, he would help Ndigbo win the presidency in 2027.

But in its response, Ohanaeze said no Southeasterner or Igbo would take the pledge by Atiku seriously.
