Numerous All Progressives Congress (APC) fans departed the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi in a huff when Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, was unable to address the crowd due to an audio problem.

On Monday, after the speech of Governor Simon Lalong, Director General of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the All Progressives Congress, the disgruntled supporters from several North-East states abruptly began departing the site.

The sound system failed when President Muhammadu Buhari, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, and APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, climbed the podium to address the crowd of supporters.

Every attempt to restore the sound was unsuccessful.

First News learnt that President Buhari and Tinubu were unable to continue speaking to the disgruntled audience since they were on their way out.

President Buhari and APC Chairman, Adamu presented the flag to Amb Saddique Baba Abubakar, the party’s candidate for governor of Bauchi State, after waiting for about 10 minutes for the sound to be restored, and then they left scene to board the convoy that had already been waiting.

As of press time, no party official was willing to comment, making it impossible to get a response from them.
