The Minister for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo has said Nigeria is now a better nation with Twitter fulfilling conditions given it by the Federal Government for its suspension to be lifted.

The Federal Government had restored the Twitter operation in Nigeria after six months suspension.

In his first tweet, while returning on the social media giant, Keyamo mocked those he said had prioritized politics over patriotism.

His tweet reads: “For those who prioritized politics over patriotism and exhibited disingenuous righteousness on Twitter suspension, they can now see that with all the FG conditions to which Twitter agreed, Nigeria is eventually better off for it.

“Congratulations Nigeria.”

“The approval was given following a memo written to the President by the Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof Isa Ali Ibrahim.
