Tinubu not as old as being portrayed, we’re both young guys —Sani

A former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, says that the All Progressives Congress leader and 2023 presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, also known as Jagaban, is not as old as people portray him.

Senator Sani describes himself and Tinubu as being “both young guys and age mates.” 

The senator, who posted a photo of him and Tinubu on his Twitter handle wrote:

“Jagaban is not as old as you portray him. We are both young guys and age mates.”

Since Tinubu recently announced his ambition to run for the office of the Nigerian presidency in 2023, after a visit to Buhari, there have been controversies over his real age.

The former Lagos State governor claims to be 69, but many Nigerians think he is not telling the truth about his age. For many, he may be above 70 or in his 80s.
